Kristyna Melindo, PTRP

Sports Physiotherapist | Movement & Recovery Specialist

I am a licensed physiotherapist originally from the Czech Republic with over 10 years of experience in sports rehabilitation, movement therapy, recovery care, and injury prevention. I graduated in Physiotherapy from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2014.

A major influence on my professional development was intensive sports physiotherapy training under Michal Novotný, a highly respected Czech sports physiotherapist and osteopath internationally recognized for his work with elite athletes, professional sports teams, and world-class tennis players. Through this experience, I gained practical insight into athlete preparation, injury prevention, recovery systems, and performance-focused rehabilitation within professional sports environments.

Throughout my career, I have worked in sports medicine clinics, private practice, and professional tennis environments. Now based in Siargao Island, I combine evidence-based physiotherapy with a passion for movement, an understanding of surfing and active lifestyles, and a personalized approach to recovery.

My goal is to help people recover from pain, prevent injuries, move better, and return confidently to the activities they love.
